VHR StockCar

. All Star Racing Rules: VHR-Stock Car 2009 [rFactor]

It is the Drivers Responsibility to know and follow all rules posted for each series.

Practice Time:            Weekly
Qualifying Time:         7:30pm Eastern Standard
Warmup                       5 Minutes
Race Time:                  7:35pm Eastern Standard

(1.)Team Speak Use:
     (A.)Absolutely NO CHAT during qualifying.
     (B.)During Race, keep TS chat to a minimum & race related.
          (a.)Use whisper to communicate with teammates.
     (C.)When there is a caution, there is zero chat until race Admins have finished.
     (D.)No public discussion of an incident is allowed on TS.

(2.)Race Officiating:
     (A.)There will be at least 2 race Admins at each ASR League Race.
          (a.)Race Admins word is final.

     (B.)We will not tolerate over aggressive driving.

     (C.)We will not tolerate wrecking intentionally.

(3.)Racing Rules:
     (A.)With rolling starts, Maintain Pacing speed until the Green Flag is Dropped.
     (B.)Show the same amount of respect & courtesy you expect from other drivers.
     (C.)The driver passing has the best view & should take big share of responsibility for any passing attempt.

(4.)Flags:
     (A.)Flags displayed by the game are to be respected at all times.
     (B.)All flags displayed by the game as a penalty are to be served.
(5.)Incidents:
     (A.)If there is a Caution & you are the Fault.
        (a.)Drivers at fault must drive thru pit or make a pitstop.
     (B.)If you are the cause of 3 incidents that bring out a caution you must park it for the race.

(6.)Free Pass:
     (A.)The Free Pass rule will be in effect during the race until the last 10 laps of the race.
        (a.)rFactor will manage the Free Pass.
     (B.)rFactor is not perfect on this rule but so everyone understands the first car behind the leaders 1 or more laps down
          will recieve the Free Pass.
     (B.)Once you recieve the Free Pass you must announce on team speak that you passing to the Outside.
     (C.)If you were the cause of the caution and happen to get the Free Pass do not take the free pass.
        (a.)If it is found you did not follow this you will get a penalty after the race.

(7.)ESC Rule:
     (A.)You need to come to a complete stop if you can not make it back to pits.
        Let the whole feild pass you before hitting ESC.
        If you can make it back to the pits but are too damaged to continue racing and want to leave the game please
        Wait for 1 green lap to be completed and then you may ESC from the race.
        (The reason is to prevent Stop & Go penalties from hitting ESC before everyone passes by you. This is an rFactor Game
        engine glitch.)

(8.)CAUTIONS:
     (A.)Post auto chat intensions or call out on Teamspeak regarding pitting during green & caution flag pit stops.
     (B.)When entering pit road, position yourself in the right hand lane for entering & exiting the pits. No passing on the
        left while driving down pit road. When your stop is complete, exit the pits with caution!
        If caution Hold your position, but do not lift until after you cross the start/finish line.(Then lift with caution.)
     (B.)If you happen to pass someone when the yellow flag comes out you must give the position back to that driver.

(9.)Garage:
     (A.)If you feel you have been wrecked intentionally.
          (a.)Take it to the Garage.(A post in the forums.)
     (B.)If you have anything during a league race the you feel was unfair.
          (a.)Take it to the Garage.(A post in the forums.)

(10.)Qualifying:
     (A.)You can only run 2 laps for Qualifying.
          (a.)Absolutly no talking during Qualifying
     (B.)Qualifying is 5 min.long
